"There is a force inside me that needs to express itself creatively. An impulse to materialize sensations, feelings, dreams, that which I cannot express in words. Through my work I try to explore the sensory nuances of the body, to draw my experience of pain, looking for a relief more than physical, of the spirit. I try to evoke the transformative nature of things, searching through the stroke to find myself and form a symbolic language that resonates with others through our pain, our human experience of emotion, honoring the wisdom we carry within. "
