ABOUT THE ARTIST

Emiliano Massimini

Emiliano Massimini

Llanto Vaquero is an artist whose practice is grounded in experimentation and improvisation. His work explores the transition from childhood to adulthood, addressing themes such as sexual identity, animal behavior, and the symbolic role in shaping one's social self. Through a wide array of colors, textures, and forms, his pieces invite introspection on personal memory and its unfolding in the world. Each artwork is created without preliminary sketches, emerging from an initial impulse as a direct connection to the subconscious. He works with materials such as oil, acrylic, modeling pastes, and adhesives, deconstructing their conventional use to create new visual textures and structures. His process challenges traditional categories and offers a visceral, emotional narrative open to multiple interpretations.
