Para esta edición de Zona Maco Ejes, Mooni presenta la saturación sostenida de Ileana García Magoda.

En su botánica alucinada —donde el color opera como clima y la selva como estado mental— las obras de gran formato no simplemente cuelgan: se desdoblan para componer un solo paisaje vivo.

Cada pieza funciona como un umbral: detalle, exceso, respiro. El montaje no busca “ordenar” la selva, sino activarla; convertir el muro en una experiencia envolvente donde la mirada no reposa: transita.

Una pintura que no ilustra la naturaleza. La inventa.

For this edition of Zona MACO EJES, Mooni presents Ileana García Magoda and her sustained saturation.

In her hallucinatory botany—where color behaves like weather and the jungle feels like a state of mind—these large-scale works don’t simply hang: they unfold into a single living landscape.

Each piece acts as a threshold: detail, excess, a moment to breathe. The installation doesn’t attempt to “tame” the jungle—it triggers it, turning the wall into an immersive field where the gaze never settles; it moves through.

Painting that doesn’t depict nature. It invents it.
